Some people asked me why I use facebook. Some people even expressed their indignation with my decision to use
facebook in the way I did. That’s astonishing for me.
Facebook gives me the opportunity to inform and to communicate with the fans and I think it is obvious that football lives through the fans and totally depends on the fans.
And to be a fan means to care – not only on the match day, but every day. And to care means to be curious. That’s absolutely normal and today in the Information Age, with the internet; it would be foolish and unreasonable to ignore that fact.
Fans want to know what’s going on. They want to be informed about the development and even the problems of their team, about the mood, the plans, they want to be part of it and you know what ? we want you to be part of it – we are a team – players, my staff, me and you the fans.
Besides that, we are not a club team, we are the Thai national team and that means we are your team, the team of the people from Thailand. It goes without saying that you have a right to be informed. I think transparence is within reasonable bounds a very good way to work in this business.

บางคนถามผมว่าทำไมผมถึงใช้เฟซบุ๊ค บางคนแสดงความโกรธเคืองผมด้วยซ้ำในวิธีการใช้เฟซบุ๊คของผม นี่ทำให้ผมประหลาดใจมาก

และการจะเป็นแฟนหมายถึงต้องให้ความใส่ใจ ไม่เฉพาะในวันแข่งขัน แต่ทุกวัน และการใส่ใจหมายถึงความอยากรู้อยากเห็นด้วย มันเป็นเรื่องที่ปกติมาก และในยุคของข้อมูลข่าวสาร และด้วยการมีอินเตอร์เน็ต มันเป็นเรื่องที่งี่เง่าและไม่มีเหตุผลที่จะไม่ให้ความสนใจกับมัน
แฟนอยากจะรู้ว่าอะไรกำลังเกิดขึ้น พวกเขาอยากจะรู้ว่าทีมมีการพัฒนาอย่างไร และแม้แต่ปัญหาของทีม เกี่ยวกับความรู้สึก แผนการ พวกเขาอยากเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมัน และคุณรู้มั้ย ผมอยากให้คุณเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานนี้ เราเป็นทีมเดียวกัน ผู้เล่น เจ้าหน้าที่ ผม และคุณ แฟนๆ
นอกจากนั้น นี่ไม่ใช่ทีมสโมสร เราเป็นทีมชาติไทย และนั่นหมายถึงคุณเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทีมด้วย ทีมของประชาชนชาวไทย และไม่ต้องบอกก็รู้ว่าคุณมีสิทธิ์ที่จะได้รับข่าวสารจากเรา ผมคิดว่าความโปร่งใสในระดับที่สมเหตุสมผลเป็นเรื่องดีที่จะต้องทำในการทำงานแบบนี้
